MP Balka Suman had launched his own mission to help the poor passengers and RTC
employees by establishing water machines which provide one litre purified
mineral water for Rs 1 at all the bus stations in his Parliament constituency.
“I realized the importance and dire need to
establish one rupee coin mineral water machines on seeing such machines at
crowded places established by the state governments during his visit as a
member of Parliamentary standing committee on rural development to some states
in north India a few months ago and replicating
the same in his Parliamentary constituency.”, said Balka Suman.
“ I observed
that it was very difficult for the poor passengers to buy purified drinking
water bottles costing each Rs15-20 and also RTC staff at bus stations”, he
added’.
Mr Suman
is spending funds from his MPLADS funds to establish one rupee coin miner water
machines and so far such machines each costing Rs 8 lakh were established at
bus stations in Mancherial and Srirampur in Adilabad and Godavarikhani and
Peddapalli in Karimangar districts.
He is also
planning to establish such purified drinking water machines at bus stations at
Mandamarri, Bellampalli, Luxettipet which comes under his parliamentary
constituency in the Adilabad district.
