Telangana Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana said
there were limitations with regard to democracy even in the newly formed Telanana
state and observed that barbed fence existing still at Osmania University
campus was any indication to it.
Addressing at a meeting here in Nirmal after releasing
the book ‘Damera Kavitha Sarvaswam’ written by Dr. Damera Ramulu, Mr Narayana
said there were instances of invoking Section.144 on OU campus.
He said there would be no meaning in Telangana state
if there was no space for fundamental rights and freedom of expression and
people of the Telangana will definitely fight for better Telangana.
He said the land of Telangana itself has an inherent
quality of revolting against the injustice and for equality.
Mr Narayana
showered encomiums on all singers, writers and intellectuals of Telangana for their
sacrifices and contribution in achieving separate state.

Jagannatham criticized the state government for not sanctioning funds to
control the fevers in the Agency due to which a large number of Adivasis were affected,
instead sanctioning Rs 25 Crore funds to develop the Jodeghat as Tourism post.
